Precautions for operating winter fecal suction trucks
Preparation before startup: anti freezing and checking the status
1. Preheat the engine
Before starting the sewage suction truck, idle and preheat for 5-10 minutes (especially for diesel models). Wait for the water temperature gauge to rise above 30 ℃ before driving slowly to avoid excessive cold start load and engine damage.
2. Check the oil system
Replace lubricating oil and hydraulic oil (low pour point hydraulic oil) suitable for winter to avoid component wear caused by viscous oil.
Check if the lubricating oil in the gearbox and vacuum pump is sufficient to prevent malfunctions caused by poor lubrication at low temperatures.
3. Battery and circuit maintenance
Check the battery level of the sewage suction truck. The battery capacity is prone to decay at low temperatures, so it can be charged in advance or insulated.
The wiring harness interface should be moisture-proof and anti loose to avoid adverse effects on equipment operation due to poor circuit contact.
4. Tires and braking system
Maintain normal tire pressure (slightly higher than the standard value by 10%) to prevent low tire pressure at low temperatures; Equipped with anti-skid chains to cope with icy and snowy roads.
Test the sensitivity of the brake system, with a focus on checking whether the brake fluid has solidified to avoid brake failure.

Operation in homework: anti blocking, stable operation
1. Slowly start the device
Start and accelerate smoothly, avoid sudden braking or stepping on the accelerator, and prevent the tank from shaking and causing the center of gravity to shift or the pipeline interface to loosen.
2. Pay attention to the operating temperature of the vacuum pump
After starting the vacuum pump of the suction truck, run it idle for 2-3 minutes and observe whether the pressure gauge is normal to avoid damaging the pump body during cold start with load.
If the inhaled liquid contains moisture, the single operation time should be shortened to prevent water accumulation and freezing inside the pump from blocking the impeller.
3. Prevent pipeline freezing
Before using the suction and discharge pipes, check for ice blockage. You can first rinse them with hot water or blow them with warm air to clear them.
During homework, avoid sucking and draining low-temperature thick substances (such as frozen manure). If necessary, manually crush or heat soften them to prevent pipeline blockage or tank freezing and cracking.
4. Control loading capacity
Suction trucks need to avoid full load driving, especially on slopes or icy roads, to reduce the risk of center of gravity deviation; If there are ice cubes in the sewage, the loading capacity should be reduced to 70% -80% of the tank capacity.

Post homework maintenance: emptying, cleaning, antifreeze
1. Thoroughly drain the remaining liquid
After the operation of the suction sewage truck is completed, it is necessary to empty the residual liquid inside the vacuum pump, pipeline, and tank (including sewage and condensate). All drain valves and drain switches can be opened, and if necessary, compressed air should be used to blow the pipeline to prevent the residual water from freezing, expanding, and damaging the components.
If parked for a long time, it is recommended to rinse the inside of the tank with clean water to avoid difficulty in cleaning after the dirt freezes.
2. Equipment cleaning and inspection
Timely remove manure and snow from the tank, chassis, and tires to prevent weight gain or corrosion of metal parts after freezing.
Check the suction pipe and sealing ring for cracks or hardening (easily brittle at low temperatures), and replace them promptly if any damage is found.
3. Parking and antifreeze measures
Try to park the fecal suction truck indoors or in a sheltered area, and avoid outdoor parking; If outdoor parking is necessary, insulation materials (such as cold proof cloth) can be used to wrap the tank and pipelines.
When not in use for a long time, antifreeze protective agents can be added to the vacuum pump and hydraulic system, or the equipment can be started once a week and run at idle speed for 10 minutes to prevent rusting of components or solidification of oil.

Safety and emergency response
1. Operator protection
Wear non slip shoes, cold resistant gloves, and reflective work clothes. When working, be careful not to freeze and slip under your feet, and avoid direct contact with low-temperature metal parts (such as door handles and pipes) to prevent frostbite.
First aid medicine (such as chilblain cream) and emergency tools (such as shovel and snow melting agent) are equipped in the vehicle.
2. Emergency situation handling
If the pipeline of the fecal suction truck freezes, it is forbidden to use open flames for baking (which may cause explosions or fires). Hot water can be slowly poured or electric heating belts can be used for thawing.
In the event of a tank or pipeline freezing and leaking, immediately stop the operation, stay away from sources of fire, and promptly contact professional maintenance personnel to avoid the spread of pollution.
Special scenario precautions
Regions with extremely cold temperatures below minus 10 ℃:
It is recommended to temporarily suspend the use of small three wheeled sewage suction trucks (due to their small tank capacity and poor insulation), and prioritize the use of large equipment or models equipped with electric heating function.
Ice and snow mixed road surface:
Reduce the speed of the vehicle (≤ 20km/h), maintain a distance between vehicles, avoid sharp turns, and have a designated person guide the vehicle if necessary.
Through the above measures, the operational risks of winter fecal suction trucks can be effectively reduced, the service life of equipment can be extended, and the safety and efficiency of environmental sanitation operations can be ensured.
