The Jining Cross border Trade Matchmaking Conference was held to assist Shandong enterprises in setting sail and going global

        On August 12th, the Shandong Jining Cross border Trade Ecological Conference and Precision Procurement Matchmaking Meeting were grandly held. The core of this conference is to deepen the integration of Shandong's advantageous industrial belt resources and the advantages of the foreign trade excellent product warehouse platform, aiming to help Jining's high-quality products efficiently expand overseas markets.

         Nearly 30 buyers from 17 countries in Central Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and South America actively participated, with procurement needs covering multiple fields such as engineering machinery, agricultural machinery, specialized vehicles, and components.

           01 Multi party forces gather to jointly seek a new chapter in going global

         This conference has attracted various forces such as government, enterprises, platforms, finance and insurance, logistics and warehousing to gather in Jining, taking an important step towards the construction of Jining's trade ecosystem together. The delegation of Mangystau Oblast in Kazakhstan, as well as Google eBay、 Experts and important guests from Wal Mart, TEMU and other world-renowned platforms shared frontier trends and practical experience in cross-border trade. The Department of Commerce of Shandong Province fully supports Jining City in deepening its exploration in the field of foreign trade and providing more new experiences for the whole province.

                02 Precise docking requirements, connecting cross-border links

          During the conference, the Jining Municipal Bureau of Commerce signed an overseas channel co construction agreement with Hangzhou Weiyi Technology Co., Ltd., which will provide accurate channel services such as "foreign group buying" and "foreign enterprise entry" for various industrial belts in the city in the future. Six companies have been awarded the "first batch of core ecological partners" by Jining Youpin Library, and seven companies have completed key project cooperation contracts. As an important participant, Longgong Port highlighted its efficient and open channel system of "land, sea, and domestic linkage, east-west mutual assistance", and clearly outlined Jining's logistics blueprint for connecting the global market to the attending guests.

               03 Focus on the African market and build special bridges

          On August 15th, the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province hosted the "Ten Thousand Enterprises Going Global with Shandong Trade" Cross border Logistics Supply and Demand Matchmaking Conference for Africa in Jining. The event focuses on the African market, accurately building a bridge between foreign trade enterprises and cross-border logistics and platform, operation, finance, legal and other supporting service providers. More than 200 foreign trade and cross-border e-commerce enterprises in our province conducted face-to-face negotiations with service providers based on specific needs such as logistics warehousing, brand display, financing and credit insurance, overseas compliance, and localized marketing. Over 1000 one-on-one consultations were held on-site, and multiple enterprises reached initial cooperation intentions.

            04 Financial Empowerment of Foreign Trade, Prioritizing Local Currency Settlement

         On August 7, Jining Branch of the People's Bank of China, together with Jining Bureau of Commerce, held a lecture on promoting cross-border RMB use in goods trade in Jining in 2025. The lecture will focus on the actual needs and challenges faced by foreign trade enterprises, with the theme of "Integrating local currencies from all over the world and prioritizing Confucian merchants in Jining's commodity trade". Since the pilot of cross-border RMB business in Jining in June 2010, a total of 104 branches of 23 banks in the city have handled cross-border RMB settlements, with a cumulative settlement amount of over 300 billion yuan, covering 148 countries and regions overseas.

         05 Strong industrial foundation, excellent product library shows results

       Jining has a strong industrial foundation, especially in the fields of construction machinery, specialized vehicles, agricultural products, ski suits and gloves, pharmaceuticals and chemicals, which have significant advantages. Jining City has deeply implemented the "Jining Excellent Product Chain Global" market development action, successfully cultivated the Yiyunying Foreign Trade Comprehensive Service Platform to become the designated operation service provider of the "Shandong Excellent Product Warehouse", and helped more than 500 local enterprises and more than 5000 enterprises outside the city expand their overseas business, driving a trade volume of 2.52 billion yuan. Nearly 500 enterprises and more than 1100 products have been selected to be included in the "Jining Excellent Product Library". By the first half of 2025, exports to non US markets will increase comprehensively, with the city completing imports and exports of 64.79 billion yuan. Cross border e-commerce imports and exports will double, and second-hand car exports will lead the province.

            06 Bonded logistics support, jointly building a highland of cooperation

         Jining High tech Holding Group provided a detailed introduction to the center overview, functional positioning, operational achievements, and advantageous conditions of Jining High tech Bonded Logistics Center (Type B). Multiple companies have stated that the location advantage, policy support, and well-developed cross-border trade ecosystem of Jining High tech Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) provide strong support for overseas enterprises. At the exchange meeting, Jining Comprehensive Insurance Development and Construction Co., Ltd. had in-depth discussions with participating enterprises on topics such as cross-border trade and supply chain cooperation, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.

        With rounds of applause from the venue, a series of practical measures were implemented intensively. The solutions and services of Longgong Port have attracted the attention and inquiries of many attendees, and its "Rongshuiyi" supply chain platform has empowered cross-border trade through digital means and improved efficiency. In the future, Jining City will continue to optimize its policy system, improve measures such as "worry free overseas" to benefit enterprises, and reduce cross-border business risks and costs for enterprises.
